PRESIDENT: HIEU HUYNH, OD
Dr. Hieu Huynh grew up in Carrollton, TX and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas. She moved to the east coast to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where she earned her doctor of optometry degree in 2015. Her desire to be in private practice started early in her career and she started Clarity Vision Care in 2018 in Richardson, TX. She saw an opportunity to move her practice to a new location in North Garland and did so in 2023. She has a special interest in primary care optometry, ocular disease, LASIK and cataract co-management, dry eye management, and specialty contact lens fittings. Dr. Huynh enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients and educating them about the importance of eye health. Dr. Huynh is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, as well as the Dallas County Optometric Society.
VICE PRESIDENT: BLESSY PHILIP, OD
Dr. Blessy Philip was born in India and raised in South Florida. She moved to Dallas, Texas to attend University of North Texas, where she got her Bachelor's degree in Biology. She completed her doctorate degree at University of Houston College of Optometry in 2014. She did her externships at Community Eye Care in Forth Worth, Texas and Good neighbor eye clinic in Houston, Texas. She opened her private practice Sight to See in Las Colinas in 2026. She is an active member of Embassy City Church. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, eating, shopping and doing various arts and crafts. .
TREASURER/SECRETARY: SHIVANI PATEL, OD
Dr. Shivani Patel was born and raised in Frisco, Texas. She graduated from University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and minor in Psychology. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2019. She graduated a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and is an active member of American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association and, of course, Dallas County Optometric Society. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, travelling, and spending time with friends and family!
